You will contribute significantly to successful results in Ellipse APM project which is the most proven and efficient asset performance management solution available on the market. Reporting to Jakub Kowalczyk, you will work independently while collaborating with, and providing guidance to, the wider R&D team. We’re looking for a Java developer who’s not afraid to talk to the person sitting next to him and recognizes the importance of both individual and group effort to deliver high quality product, meeting customer needs.
Your responsibilities
- Designing and developing enterprise class and modern solution available in both SaaS and on-premise versions and based on microservice architecture with Kuberneters, Kafka and Docker technologies on board
- Following best software development practices; Ensuring code quality and following best software development practices: Unit Tests, Code Reviews
- Working in a cross discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team’s activities, focusing on a common team goal
- Share your experience and skills with other team members
Your background
- Minimum Bachelor in computer science or equal with Minimum 3 years of experience in Java Development
- Experience with Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Strong understanding the principles of service-oriented software and large scale distributed systems.
- Technical knowledge of cloud-based systems – covering infrastructure, platform and software as services is considered as advantage
- Knowledge of TypeScript and ReactJS, experience in microservice architecture or Azure technologies are considered as advantages
- Experience in Unit testing technics and frameworks
- Good understanding of SOLID principles;
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Experience in an agile development environment
