About the role
- As a content marketing manager, you will work with our sales and marketing function to design highly engaging content and take our external communications to the next level
- Understand the evolving spectrum of content type and depth that is consumed, preferred and ultimately drives decisions of consumers
- Determine the types of assets are needed to best accomplish the goal of the consumer interaction and lead the strategy, production and distribution of Visual and Written Content for Codahead and its several brands.
- This includes content for the Company website, Brand Websites, Social Media, Landing pages, Sales collateral, Proposals, Email Campaigns, Print Collateral and other content needs.
- Drive the financial optimization of content production, including how assets are created, where assets are created and who executes production (3rd party vendors vs in-house UI/UX designers)
- You will work with our Head of Sales and Marketing and represent the voice of the audience.
Essential Skills
- Experience building creative campaigns for major projects and moments.
- Experience commissioning, scripting, and editing social native content (social videos and graphics)
- Proactive interest in broadening your industry knowledge (IT)
- Experience using data and insights including social listening tools to drive audience development.
- Ability to write clear and persuasive copy for various audiences (covering informal and formal language) and across a range of channels (e.g. social, blog, website, email).
- Understanding consumer behaviour and trends as it relates to content consumption and types of content to best relay different points/messages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of developing and managing company social media strategies, and seeking out inspiring source content and bringing it to life across a range of formats so that the target audience is engaged and inspired.
It’s awesome but not a must
- 2-5 years of experience in content creation, marketing communications or brand marketing
