Electronics Engineer

DUTIES:
  • Diagnostics and analysis of customer returns for advanced electronic controllers used in industry (controllers for gas and steam turbines, high power internal combustion engines, gensets, etc...)
  • Locating and repairing defects in complex printed circuit boards (PCBA) down to component level
  • Prepare electronic equipment repair reports for customers (e.g. 8D), and internally
  • Liaising with quality, product engineering, customer service on returns (international departments)
  • Testing of repaired devices according to test procedures
  • Possibly creating test procedures to verify the repair process of electronic devices
  • Possible participation in new product implementation projects for serviceability of equipment
  • Single shift, stationary work in company's headquarters
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree Higher in electronics or related field
  • Practical knowledge of analog and digital electronics and programmable electronic circuits, including FPGA
  • Ability to operate standard measuring devices and programmers
  • Communicative knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
  • 4 years of experience in a similar field
  • Proactivity and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
  • Knowledge of IPC 610, IPC7711 standards would be an asset
