The company in Poland operates for over 20 years and employs approximately 2,000 employees. The basic activity of ISS in Poland is complex service of buildings. We provide cleaning and hygiene services, catering services, office support and technical service. We are present in office buildings, commercial complexes, industrial plants as well as in public utility buildings and health care.
Requirements:
- EHS related University or post University degree.
- Overall minimum 3 year' experience in building construction on the level of EHS coordinator or specialist.
- Good know how of applicable for constructions law and requirements.
- Previous experience or exposure to people coordination - would be an asset.
- Capability and experience in works at height organization.
- Fluent Polish, English - Intermediate as minimum requirement.
- Capability of cooperation in the international Team.
- Good communication skills and PC literal (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with EHS related up to date laws and legislation.
- Inform management on the impact of any changes to the company or their roles and responsibilities.
- Advise and represent construction site management in all matters concerning compliance with EHS regulations and maintain professional relationships with permitting authorities.
- Act as construction management advisor for all sustainability topics.
- Act as official sustainability representative towards authorities, government officials and auditing bodies.
- Train and supervise construction works crews and teams to ensure compliance with internal EHS policies and procedures.
- Proactive identification of safety risks and threads, initiating of risk prevention actions.
- Information sharing with construction management, supervisors and employees concerning the root causes of construction related incidents in organization, in order to create awareness and prevent re-occurrence of injury to people and losses to the company.
- Timely risks, threads, incidents and accident reporting and analyses and corrective actions definition and execution.
- Cooperation and communication with global EHS team.
