Who we are:
Ava Security’s Accounting team is responsible for managing the company's financial results. Through preparation, management and completion of daily, monthly and quarterly activities our Accounting team provides timely, accurate and relevant financial results for leadership to make informed decisions impacting the entire division. By joining our Accounting team, you will work closely with a group of thoughtful, insightful individuals, all of whom are committed to solving complex problems and ensuring the continued growth of the company and its platforms.

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant with excellent attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the accounting, supply chain, marketing and other teams to ensure we have tight controls around our procure-to-pay process and our vendor relationships are thoughtfully taken care of.

 Responsibilities include:

• AP Data transition from the UK headquarter
• Support Accounts Payable key activities including Vendor Maintenance, Invoice Processing, Payments and employee Expenses
• Identify and implement a procure-to-pay system with a focus on Ava Security operations and meeting the growth and scale needs of the business. 
• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, proper coding, and compliance with internal controls
• Work closely and effectively with other departments within Ava Security to identify solutions and support new business opportunities
• Assist in month-end close procedures 

• 2-5  years of relevant accounts payable accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional, confidential manner
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced, high volume environment with competing priorities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
