Motorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (F.O.C.) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. It is a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will be valued and where you will do some of the best work of your life.
General Ledger department is in charge of General Accounting, Global Fixed Assets & Intercompany Operations and Statutory & Compliance activities for Motorola’s entities in the region.

• Delivery of financial accounting, reporting and taxation tasks for entities in-scope
• Together with external advisors preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Corporate Tax Returns, VAT returns or other filings; preparation of those in person for simpler / smaller entities, based on existing procedures
• Working with external auditors on statutory audits
• Coordinating timely and accurate statutory filing for entities in scope
• Providing analysis of balance sheet movements
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Processing of standard and ad hoc GL/tax journal entries
• Close cooperation with local finance teams and management
• Ensuring documentation of all processes is in place
• Other ad hoc tasks as determined by the GL Manager/Team Lead

• Very good command of written and spoken English language - essential
• Very good command of written and spoken Russian language - essential
• At least two years experience in accounting/tax area 
• Experience in a similar position will be an asset
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Taxation and financial reporting knowledge
• University degree in Finance or Accounting
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Attention to detail
• Very good Excel knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels
• Ability to work in an intense, fast paced and multinational work environment
• Team player
