For our Client, global manufacturing company, we are currently recruiting for the position:
Product Engineer
Miejsce pracy: Kraków
Your responsibilities
- Makes analysis of customer requirements and translates them into product definition.
- Creates Bill of Materials, gives guidance to CAD designer, conducts basic calculations and requests conducting of FEA/CFD analyses.
- Leads sample build also using 3D parts and orders laboratory tests
- Checks and releases components drawings and collaborates with suppliers.
- Supports pre-serial builds and helps suppliers to debug components.
- Verifies validation reports and signs validation statement.
- Analyzes risks and acts as a problem-solving team leader if the risks will materialize.
- Defines Customer Outline Drawing content and follow drawing updates release process.
- Acts as main interface between company and customer engineering
- Compiling / Customization of Validation Reports for customers
- Manages change implementation process
- Supports Product Development team, quality and warranty activities
- Supports first prototype and production builds, Machine Qualifications and customer events
- Leads new businesses quotation processes and changes to current businesses
Our requirements
- B. Sc. is a minimum requirement. M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering is a preference
- At least 2 years of professional experience is required, experience in automotive in preferred
- Very good command of English allowing to lead even complex technical discussions via mail or telephone. Command of other languages is an asset.
- Experience in customer contact.
- Knowledge and experience in GD&T & DFMEA
- Excellent time management for own tasks
- Experience in use of Microsoft Office applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Broad technical knowledge and analytical skills
