Join our team to assure the quality of end-2-end solutions for Hitachi Energy Mission Critical Communication systems. You as a Team Member will work on cutting-edge communication solutions applicable in a wide range of industries evolving in a digital age. It is a unique opportunity for you to participate in international projects in interdisciplinary, talented teams working on high reliable network solutions.

Your responsibilities
  • Automation of testing procedures.
  • Planning of test scope based on use cases and technical requirements.
  • Defining efficient test strategies and test infrastructure.
  • Implementation of functional and non-functional tests.
  • Close cooperation with developers resulting in system improvements.
  • Participation in project planning, execution, testing, and R&D activities in SAFe/SCRUM methodology.
  • Bringing QA mentality into the team.
  • Focusing on safety and integrity means taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • BSc or MSc degree in IT, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Python programming or testing.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks, e.g. pytest.
  • Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS), virtual machines, containers, continuous integration tools.
  • Experience in testing network management software is a plus (MPLS).
  • Java software testing and REST interface knowledge is an advantage.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.
