Open GI is a high-growth UK based software house specialising in the provision of applications to the global insurance market. In 2011 we opened our first office outside the UK in Poland, Krakow, which now has a number of exciting career opportunities for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our constantly growing team of software developers, testers, maintenance programmers and support analysts.
Implementation Specialist is required to join a specialist software provider to the global insurance industry to assist in the day to day activity of Open GI implementation projects from specification to post-delivery phases.
- configuration and maintenance of the application using custom built toolsets
- creation of document templates for both B2C and B2B models
- designing and building data captures screens of Back Office system
- overseeing internal deliveries and timescales
- testing as required
- assisting in the maintenance of project plans and highlight reports, reporting on progress and risks
- a relevant education degree (preferably technical)
- advanced Microsoft Excel, Word skills
- a good command of both spoken and written English
- strong teamwork skills
- analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- attention to detail
- ability/willingness to travel on-site client support (UK area)
- have a basic script writing skills
- demonstrate knowledge of SQL
- have a strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with business as well as ITsystems
- be committed to delivering excellent customer service
An insurance experience within UK market would be beneficial however not essential as training will be provided.
