As part of Motorola Solutions, the WE organization utilizes cutting-edge technologies to create effective training, documentation, and knowledge transfer products.

The Worldwide Education Project Leader is responsible for managing large global projects within its training organization. The Project Leader will be responsible for ensuring proper completion of the development work assigned to the development teams. This includes responsibility for the quality of deliverables, completion of the team’s deliverables, and raising the necessary risk and issues.

• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key project stakeholders  
• Define project scope with the Product Teams
• Working closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product based on needs
• Work with Instructional Designers and the translation team to cost projects and define the scope
• Determine the resources required to complete the project based on project costing
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of releases
• Continual communication with key project stakeholders, on project status, risks, and issues
• Re-prioritize product backlog based on changing product needs
• Participate in quality reviews of assignments to ensure they are at an acceptable quality level, as well as having complied with the appropriate development process

In order to understand the direction of the instructional designers and information architects, it is desirable to have the highest level non-engineering understanding of the features, functions, and applicability of Motorola products and systems. Prior experience or knowledge is a plus, and the ability to rapidly gain such knowledge is required.

• 3-5 years Project Management Experience, preferably running AGILE projects
• BSc Computer Science or English Language Degree
• Background in Course Development, with a minimum of 2 years experience a plus but not essential.
• Understanding of Google Apps for Work is preferred by not required
• Essential Microsoft Products expert
• Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
• Strong team player, able to work in a faced and rapidly changing environment
• PMI-ACP, PSPO, PMP or PRINCE certified preferred
