To strengthen our Statutory & Tax Team, we are looking for a (senior) specialist with hands-on experience of preparing statutory financial statements and direct taxation. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our CSS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization.

 

Your responsibilities
  • Prepare income tax calculation on timely manner, tax payments and annual tax returns, both to local tax authorities as well as for group reporting
  • Prepare statutory financial statement according to the Polish Accounting Act
  • Evaluate specific transactions in the context of how to recognize them in accordance with the country regulations
  • Reconcile net results of between Statutory and Group (IFRS) and complete various tax accounts reconciliation;
  • Support financial and tax audit (internal, external and Tax Authorities)
  • Prepare ad-hoc group and local reporting
  • Manage queries and escalate tax risks to the Country Team Manager
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, including but not limited to business representatives as well as CSS colleagues from various streams.
  • Identify areas for further process improvements and support automation of activities in scope
Your background
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the direct tax area (Income and deferred tax) and preparing group and/or local tax declarations.
  • Knowledge of preparation of financial statements according to the Polish Accounting Act
  • Masters / Bachelor Degree degree in Finance, Tax or equivalent is required
  • Practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP, Oracle)
  • Good knowledge of Excel skills (Vlook-up, pivot table)
  • Advanced English language
  • Process orientation and attention on details
  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving. Being able to work with limited guidance and able to resolve more complex issues.
  • Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-learning and researching needed to execute the tasks assigned
