The Opportunity:

This role is an excellent opportunity to develop as a Senior Finance Analyst while driving service excellence in a dynamic professional team.  Your success will depend on your ability to leverage relationships with teams, clients and colleagues so to deliver excellent financial services to Aon colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Financial Team Manager;
• Maintain a robust financial control environment;
• Owning the completion of high quality and timely Account Reconciliations and leveraging Trintech Account Reconciliation tool to facilitate this process;
• Managing the close checklist across AUM UK business to ensure that required and expected accounting entries have been submitted, calculated, and posted, leveraging Trintech tool Close module to facilitate this process;
• Owning preparation and posting of accounting entries in Workday;
• Ability to effectively answer and address accounting treatment questions that arise based on the accounting entries;
• Managing relationship with UK stakeholders;
• Identifying and resolving recurring performance problems and improvement opportunities;
• Support management in completing special projects and other ad hoc assignments

Requirements: 

• 3+ years experience in a role connected to finance/accountancy or in the SSC/BPO industry;
• University degree (preferably economics, finance, accounting or similar) / professional qualification in finance or accounting;
• Knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS reporting standards;
• Previous finance experience within a large multinational company would be an advantage;
• Fluent English – you need to be C1 on the CEFR scale – with good interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of Workday would be an asset;
• Proven excellence in delivering high quality services to clients;
• Proven ability to deliver results under pressure;
• Experience in transitioning work between countries would be desirable;
• Strong problem solving and excellent planning and organization skills;
