Department Overview
As part of the Global Quality Operations Organization, the team is responsible for driving the Quality Management System in EMEA for MSI. Our team is responsible for maintaining the global Integrated certification for all MSI locations for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, & 20000.
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the ISO Integrated Management System Coordinator is to effectively and efficiently manage the Integrated Management System for our European Region. The position structures the ISO9001(QMS), ISO20000(ITIL), ISO2000(SMS), ISO22301(BCPS) compliance for each business and when there is a customer need champion the efforts to become certified as well as drive maturity level of each organization to the appropriate standard.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall Management System Support:
Assisting higher level management with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures;
Work closely with all departments in regards to ISO implementation, issues, maintenance and improvement activities;
Assists in the gathering, trending and reporting of performance indicators(KPI’s) and reporting the status to management;
Execute and complete continuous improvement projects under certain guidance and other duties as assigned.
Training the organizations on the requirements and how to audit for all ISO standards.
Growing maturity level of internal audit pool
Propose Six Sigma programs to develop team and proliferate the use of statistical methods of risk mitigation.
Maintains a current working knowledge in regard to applicable regulation and ISO industry standards and helps ensure MSI Policies and Procedures are reflective of these requirements
Internal / External Audit Support:
Organize, conduct, and assist in company-wide ISO internal audit program from planning, implementation, report generation, corrective action issuance, verification and closure.
Support external audits by the Notified Body, other regulatory bodies and third-party auditors;
Coordinate appropriate and effective corrective and preventive (CAPA) actions in response to pertinent observations and findings from the internal / external audits, customer complaints and other internal / external non-conformances;
Share best practices and lessons learned across the various organizations.
Ongoing systemic Analysis of findings to drive continuous improvement projects
Global Process:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all controlled documents / records
Support Document Control activities through the automated documentation system including training of associates to read, review and approve documents; and maintaining a fully compliant system;
Manage a Lessons Learned process to that will close gaps and leverage best practices globally and across EMEAe
Facilitate global risk management program through ISO 31000 requirements
Significant lead auditing experience required with ability to identify improvement opportunities in the auditing process.
The ability to understand and communicate Motorola’s internal System Integration and Global ISO processes.
The ability to collaborate and maintain professional relationships with key work partners across the corporation.
The ability to think strategically and propose suggestions on how we mature our IMS organization.
Strong communication skills to all levels of mgt; ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous programs/projects
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, capable of significant multi-tasking and follows all tasks through to completion
Personal and interpersonal skills, i.e., clear speaking, discreet, considerate, sensitive, and collaborative.
Ability to train the organization and auditors on various ISO standards
Strong skill in writing procedures.
Extensive background in Six Sigma & Lean Methodologies
Process Mapping Experience a plus
Experience in Continuous Improvement and structured lessons learned process
Proficient in Google Applications, Statistical Software( such as Minitab) and a willingness to learn and utilize new tools within the organization.
Oracle Experience a plus
Electronic Manufacturing and Service experience a plus
8D, DDW and APQP experience a plus
