Job Description

Are you interested in working with the latest and greatest cloud technologies? Look no further, The Cloud Compute team is driving the way technology services are hosted and delivered within Motorola Solutions by integrating public cloud services into the existing on-premises services framework. Cloud Engineer is involved in designing, automating and supporting Multi Cloud environments.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor being able to articulate and present solutions and their associated business value to internal customers, team members and management
• Support AWS  & Azure environments
• Design IaC Frameworks using GIT, Jenkins, Jira, Terraform tools
• Develop policies and blue prints for commonly used AWS services
• Design CI/CD pipeline to enable application teams

• Experience in supporting AWS or Azure environments
• Experience with AWS Components such as EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, RDS, Cloudfront.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Containers
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in working with teams using Agile methodologies like Scrum
• Understanding of ITIL service management framework
• Self-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic Requiremnts

• 3+ years of experience in AWS or Azure
• 2+ Years of experience with Python or equivalent
• 2+ Years of Unix and Windows System Administration experience
• Self-motivated team player who demonstrates initiative and flexibility
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Cloud Certifications (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with microservices and container orchestration

• BS Degree in Computer Science and/or related field
• Cloud Solution Architect Certification
