Due to a huge scope we have for Y2021-Y2023 we are extending our team and now we are looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to strengthen our development team in Krakow and help us progress with steady improvements

Our key plans for Y2021 and Y2022 are:

1. Perform GitHub to GitLab Migration
2. Migrate entire application to the Cloud (MS Azure) and Migration to Docker
3. Migrate from Oracle database to PostgreSQL Technical/organization

The team consists of ~20 people, with main team in Krakow.

Business stakeholders are located in UK

Team works in Agile process.

Mandatory skills:

• Strong DevOps background
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methods (Experience with Continuous Integration and VCS: Team City/Jenkins, GitLab)
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform or analogues in GCP/AWS
• An experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
• Strong troubleshooting skills with an attention to detail and an ability to follow processes
• Good communication skills (English level: Upper Intermediate)

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with:

o Azure Devops pipelines

o Azure Resource Manager templates

o Azure CLI

o Azure Powershell

o Azure Active Directory

• Experience with Oracle DB/PostrgreSQL
• Agile practice
• Investment banking experience and Banking related background

• 3+ years of experience in IT;
• Strong experience with Unix-like operating system and tools;
• Scripting skills (Unix shell preferable)
• Good understanding of technologies used for setting up build pipeline, including, but not limited to: GitHub, GitLab, Nexus/Artifactory, TeamCity/Jenkins, Puppet/Chef/Ansible; Maven
• Understanding of Change Management and Release Management processes;
• Ability to support several concurring working streams/tasks and efficiently work under time pressure;
• Strong analytical skills;
• High level of ownership;
• Ability to work independently and efficiently reach targets in cooperation with distributed multinational team;
• Very proactive and "Getting things done" attitude and problem solving skills;
• Flexibility with working hours (as per monthly releases) needed;
