Worldwide Education Learning Operations

Our team is looking for a leader who is passionate, proactive, and excited about leading a team of professional developers, supporting and maintaining technology based applications and projects to join our Learning Operations Organization.
 
Your main goal will be to directly manage professionals who will know what is expected of them and who align with Motorola Solutions' values and strategy. You will coach the team, foster agile philosophy, and provide guidance that is clear, simple, and technically sound. 
 
As the team leader, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure optimal implementation of Motorola Solutions learning tools and solutions. Together with the Strategy Team, you will ensure a focus on effective delivery of identified technologies.
 
In return, you will have ownership of the applications, integrations and the team, as well as full ownership of the management and deployment of internal technologies. This is your chance to lead and grow!

• Have experience in application development using Angular, PHP, JAVA.
• Are familiar with Bitbucket, Github, JIRA and other code support tools.
• Have worked on an application development team and are now ready to demonstrate your leadership abilities by leading an agile team.
• Have strong technical background with building and maintaining homegrown and off the shelf solutions with an IT focus
• Have an understanding of data security, data integration and UX strategies as part of the application development cycle
• Work effectively with a geographically dispersed cross-functional team
• Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline; prior IT management experience preferred.
