Department Overview

Payroll Team is responsible for ongoing coordination of payroll processing activities including collection and validation of payroll inputs, validation and controls of monthly payroll run outputs with the objective of processing salaries in a timely and accurate manner across the region. The Team liaises with multiple internal Clients (employees, HR and Finance colleagues) and outsourced payroll services provider; providing advice on payroll related topics.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

• analysis and problem solving in the payroll recons, account balances etc.
• supporting payroll audits for EA region
• coordinating monthly activities linked with SIP accruals, cross-charging of payroll service costs etc.
• representing Payroll Team in the context of payroll accounting topics
• supporting Payroll Team Members with knowledge and expertise; supporting GL Team
• with payroll accounting activities
• supporting payroll transition projects from payroll accounting perspective

• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting required
• Master's Degree in Economy/Finance/Accounting
• Advanced English in speech and writing
• PC Skills are required: Excel, Google tools
• Attention to detail and ability to act under tight deadlines
• Can identify some process issues and improvement opportunities
• Curiosity and need to understand both the details and the context
