Department Overview
The Field Services Organization in Europe is responsible for all Local Technical Support to our customers on site and for the Operation & Maintenance of all Field and Support Services Contracts in the Region.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the FSO Engineer are:
- Responsible for the Operation, Maintenance & Support of customer's live Networks under Support Contract in the Region;
- Responsible for the execution of technical and administrative support activities, including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change requests, to be performed at client sites;
- Participating in on-site acceptance tests, while coordinating all technical aspects of the acceptance testing;
- Providing technical support during all project phases;
- Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention;
- Conducts and leads on-site enhancements, maintenance and support for new and existing systems;
- Implements new product configurations/software upgrades, installs network devices and/or hardware components/peripherals;
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs technical problems;
- Graduate engineer from an accredited college or university. Degree, H.N.C, or equivalent in a Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline;
- Sensitivity to Customer needs and have Commercial awareness;
- Good Level of English (Both Spoken and written);
- Polish native speaker or very high level of both spoken and written Polish Language;
- Good communication and presentation skills with an attention to detail;
- Important to be a team player and self motivated. Able to build inter-personnel relationships;
- Takes ownership of allocated task and shows flexible and positive attitude;
- Flexibility to travel inside and outside the country or region he is based;
- Experience in TETRA and Dimetra Systems;
- Availability and wellness to perform 24/7 oncall service.
