Department Overview

Pricing Analyst will be part of the Pre-Sales Team with the purpose to provide excellent pricing and bid support on opportunities. This position will be part of the International Sales Operations team, working in a multi-cultural environment and supporting sales teams. Opportunity to learn many aspects of the bid process and bid strategy including project cost analysis and knowledge in competitive pricing.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

• Review price exceptions for channel sales ensuring complete and reasonable costing and margin analysis,
• Coordination of all approvals, reviews and tracking of discounts requested,
• Price exception reporting and discount analysis,
• Collect and analyze business intelligence data relevant for the bids,
• Provide timely response, optimizing project cost, protecting margin and supporting bid pricing strategy which maximizes the chance to win the deal,
• Conduct Reviews with Management and make bid pricing recommendations for Price Exceptions,
• Maintain wins & losses database,
• Interface with cross functional departments (Sales, Systems Engineering, Project management, Procurement, Product Group, Finance, legal, etc)

Specific Knowledge/Skills Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of working experience (experience in telecommunications industry would be an asset),
• Experience in project cost analysis and knowledge in competitive pricing would be an asset,
• Able to work independently with good analytical and judgement skills,
• Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure,
• Attention to detail,
• Fluent in English and Spanish,
• Good Excel knowledge,
• Required to work mixed shift
