• being a visible leader to drive and own the architecture and design of some of the most complex software systems in Hospitality Solutions
• architecting, designing and implementing of new components and sub-systems
• envisioning and developing the long-term architectural strategy, with emphasis on reusable components while adopting a nimble delivery process
• establishing structures and processes that ensure a high level of quality and reliability and extensibility of deliverables
• being a technical and operational leader with a passion for microservices, distributed systems, cloud service development, deployment and delivery
• accountable for the design, for the ease of evolution, quality of the systems, performance, scaling, and availability characteristics of the systems
• willingness to spend time actively developing parts of the systems by themselves
• reviewing of architecture and design of the existing systems and redesigns them whenever necessary
• delivering of technical training within the engineering organization, including training new engineers
• working with product management, business stakeholders and other engineering leaders to help define mid-term, long-term roadmaps and shape business directions; drives the non-functional requirements of the product
• diagnoseing system failures and problems in production and works with the technical staff to identify root causes and address them
• driving code and designing reviews of components in scope and driving the architectural governance for them
• appling fundamental skills, concepts and practices to solve difficult assignments
• demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions
• seting of directional paths for the teams/department for adoption of new technology stacks for solving business problems
• being a very visible representative of multiple technology domains and represent company in external technical forums

• 5-7 years of professional experience in software development prior architect and lead experience preferred
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• strong hands-on technology experience building and running large scale, highly available systems handling high volume of transactions
• deep understanding of cloud architectures and GCP technology and deployment
• deep exposure to Service Oriented Architecture
• deep understanding of network, queuing (MQ, pubsub, tcp/ip) and caching (Redis/Memcache) technologies
• solid experience in large scale RDBMS systems
• strong design/development experience in building large scale distributed systems and products
• expertise in multi-threading and performance-oriented programming
• a solid engineer at heart with excellent abstraction, coding and system design skills and a deep passion and curiosity for technology
• expert knowledge of .NET framework (C# language) and/or Java
• expert understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and best programming practices
• dood QA awareness (Unit Tests, TDD, Performance tests)
• excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
• proven leadership ability
